“We couldn’t be more excited about the creation of this event,” said Ryan Balaski, Festival Promoter, Live Nation Canada. “Our office has been located in the Mount Pleasant area for more than a decade and as such we are invested in cultivating the art and culture of the local community. Bringing together local artists that celebrate our shared vision with the Mural Festival is not only great for the area but the city as a whole.”

Now in its third year, Vancouver Mural Festival has quickly grown to become one of the Lower Mainland’s most popular cultural events. Taking place August 6 – 11 in the Mount Pleasant neighbourhood, VMF is organized by  Create Vancouver Society, a non-profit organization dedicated to artistic and cultural development in the city.  This year’s programming will feature 30+ artists who will transform alleyways and building facades within the community.
