Sunfest Country Music Festival moved into their fancy new digs named Laketown Ranch at Meade Creek on the Youbou Highway just outside Duncan BC. Laketown Ranch now has Canada’s largest permanent outdoor stage. The weekend peaked in attendance on Saturday night to 17,500 for Carrie Underwood’s performance.
Some highlights were:
12-time Grammy Award nominee, Dierks Bentley who had the crowd going crazy with songs from his latest album, Black, as well as most of his older hits.
Toronto duo Autumn Hill (Mike Robins and Tareya Green) whose single “Blame” from the 2015 album Anchor was their first song to reach to the top five on the Billboard Canada Country chart, and were a crowd favorite for sure.
Chase Bryant owned the crowd right from the moment he hit the stage, super high energy performance and tons of fan interaction
The site is more than a Country Music festival , it’s a mini-city, complete with its own fire department and general stores. I’m already looking forward to 2017 when headliners Little Big Town and Toby Keith are scheduled to appear. Get your Red solo cups ready
