Three Artists You Must See: Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, 311 & Wu-Tang Clan

Henceforth this series shall be known as Three Artists You Must See.

Each of these three bands are amazing in their own right, and I hope to share with you why I think their concerts should not be missed.

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds

Why: Nick Cave is the real deal. He makes beautifully dark music, and performs it with a devious swagger. He is infamous for delivering intense shows that leave audiences in awe. The entire band is renowned for their confrontational performances, getting in the face of fans and stirring the pot. The entire group is always pushing their boundaries. To add to all of that, they always have amazing opening acts. So if you do get out and see these guys, get their early to see the openers.

Why: 311 is a band with a huge fan base. Anyone that has seen them will tell you that they put everything they have into every performance. The group as whole is completely captivating. Lead singer, Nick Hexum, wraps the whole show up in a nice, neat bow. He has powerful vocals, and always has a great time performing for any audience. He also has a certain charm that really draws you in. Love this band, and I hope you check them out if you get a chance.

Wu-Tang Clan

Why: If you don’t know about the Wu-Tang Clan, then I am not sure what to say. They are an American hip hop group from New York city featuring RZA, GZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, U-God, and Masta Killa. Their music has been creating waves since the early nineties, and they are just simply amazing. Now lets talk about their live shows. Over the years they have built a name for themselves as having some of the most energetic and involved performances in the hip hop community. It is not uncommon for a show to culminate with 2-3 dozen people on stag getting swept up in the night. If you are looking for a great time, this is the group you should seek out. They bring it every night.
