A Chat With Tom Maxwell of Heallyeah

This past week I borrowed some time from American musician Tom Maxwell, the balls-to-the-wall guitarist for Hellyeah.

We discussed the recent passing of the band’s drummer and Tom’s writing partner and good friend, the legendary Vinnie Paul. It was a touching chat that left me humbled by his love, dedication, and perseverance in life, music, and relationships. He just came across as a genuine and all-around-good human being.

The band will continue to honor their late bandmate by donating a portion of ticket sales from each tour date to the American Heart Association in Vinnie Paul’s memory. They are also hosting a TEXT-TO-DONATE campaign during each of their upcoming tour dates where fans can text ‘VINNIE’ to #41411, or head to a special CrowdRise page where they can also DONATE to help fight heart disease.
