A Chat With Wallows

In May of 2017, I stumbled across a track called “Pleaser”. It was the initial offering from a new L.A.-based band called Wallows.

I really liked their sound and started to dig around on them.

The band consists of Cole Preston, Braeden Lemasters, and Dylan Minnette. Most of you will immediately recognize the latter and after a quick Google search, you will realize he is one of the stars in the Netflix hit series ’13 Reasons Why’, but that really doesn’t matter too much in this conversation.

We are here to talk about Wallows and their music., and all I have to say is this group of young musicians is putting out some really exciting music and you should take the time to check them out.

They don’t yet have any album or ep for you to grab but they do have a number of songs for you to check out.

When an opportunity came up to jump on a call with this talented trio, I jumped at the chance.
