Having never heard SON LUX music before I pulled up their latest album on Spotify and listened to it on my way to the show. I probably wasn’t doing the album justice as is a very “time & place” sound. While listening I thought “on no, how are they going to put energy into their show, as the music was wonderful, just very laid back and electronically lead”.
When they hit the stage it was evident that the 3 piece had plenty of energy, as did the crowd. You could tell the crowd was very familiar with SON LUX and excited to be there and that passion didn’t stop for the entire show.
