Wiz and Curren$y dropped their joint album, 2009, this past Friday. On Saturday night, the famous Commodore Ballroom played host to a sold-out show featuring the duo. It was a night of flowing hip-hop and endless weed. Before the show even started the venue was filled with eager attendees sparking up. By the time the opening DJ started things off, the venue was thick with smoke. It was intense.

I personally do not partake, but after twenty minutes I was grinning a little more and ready for a goddamn cheeseburger.

The twosome took over the stage and played their new album in its entirety. They were having fun, spending time between songs joking around and telling stories. The crowd loved it, it was a sea of pumping fists, excited faces, and thick billows of smoke.

It was really interesting to see Wiz at a small club venue. He could come back on his own and sell an arena, so, there was something special about seeing him at the Commodore.

Minutes after leaving the concert, I bought myself a cheeseburger. It might have been the best damn burger I have ever had.
