Alkaline Trio was the first band I ever covered for this site more than five years ago. That show fell on a warm, April night in Downtown Disney in Anaheim. This time it was a cool, crisp, October night in a warehouse district in Seattle. The setting fit the band’s music and style much better, with songs about ghosts, vampires, and decaying love. With over two decades worth of albums and touring the band was in great form, mixing in a few songs from the almost brand new Is This Thing Cursed? with songs from the rest of their albums.
Sharp Shock and together PANGEA opened the show with solid sets of punk-fueled rock, warming the audience up for the headliners.
