Well, it was a bitter sweet end to a place that showed me nothing but love since I moved out west.
The Livewire in Scottsdale, Arizona showcased a lot of the great acts that came through the area. Rock, Punk, EDM, Hip-Hop/Rap you name them and they more then likely performed there, but now it was time to say good-bye.
So, to mark this day, they booked Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.
Boy what a turn out, the line was around the corner to see these guys. I don’t know if it’s because of the band or that it was the venues last show.
It didn’t matter, the place was sold out.
After a few opening acts, and a lot drinks, the crowd was ready to pop. BTNH was suppose to come on at 10-10:30pm, NOPE.
True to the rumors of never being on time or all the members not showing up it looked like that’s the type of night we was heading for.
So hear it is 11:45pm-12:00am and we hear that they’re in the building. Whatever, fool me once, one photographer said to me. No, but they really are as Mo Thugs jumped out and did their thang.
Now the main event Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, the crowd lost their fucking minds as Krayzie, Layzie, Wish, and Flesh-n-Bone started with Notorious Thug and went up from there.
All that time waiting was forgotten and forgiven at the same time.
