Day two of the Shaky Knees Music Festival saw more sunshine and heat greet the crowds on Saturday afternoon. With the work week closed out, and the weekend in full swing, the crowds wandering between stages throughout the afternoon and into the evening had grown from Friday. Highlights included solid sets from Speedy Ortiz, Palma Violets, Fidlar, and Flogging Molly. Social Distortion celebrated the 25th anniversary of their debut album, Noel Gallagher played a set of solo tunes with a few Oasis gems tossed in, and the evening closed with North Carolina’s The Avett Brothers headlining on the main stage.
