Dweezil Zappa @ The Commodore Ballroom – April 25th 2017

This was my first exposure (of many more to come, I’m sure) to shooting with a strict photo release. First three songs, no flash is standard enough. From the crowd makes it a bit tougher, considering the kind of crowd Zappa draws. Fortunately, I was able to talk my way between two bigger fellas that helped ‘block’ for me, lol.  The first song had quite a bit of backlight and most of the band members were not well-lit.  Lighting improved with the second and third songs so I was able to get a variety of shots from the front, side and a couple from the front of house as well.
