Every Time I Die @ Rickshaw Theatre – August 2nd 2017

It has been 6 years since the mighty Buffalo, NY heavy weight rockers came through Vancouver and my god did they make up for it. With a sold out crowd, things heated up quickly. The energy of Every Time I Die is unfathomable, with thundering riffs from Jordan Buckley and Andy Williams, the guttural vocals of Keith Buckley, to the unstoppable rhythm section of Daniel Davidson and Steve Micciche. You will never see one of these band members still for more than a second.

Jordan Buckley is renown for his on stage antics, from climbing the amps, to diving into the crowd and this time he did all of those and more. Grabbing the photographers cameras and shooting for them halfway through a song was a particular highlight.

The setlist consisted of songs from almost every album with classics such as Floater, Ebolarama, The New Black to their latest release; Map Change, The Coin Has A Say, etc. Not only did they end up with half the crowd on the stage at the end, but played extra songs to please the insatiable thirst from the fans.

I personally will never get tired of seeing these guys live and highly recommend anyone who hasn’t to do so!
