It’s looking like 2019 is going to be a busy year for Social Distortion and Flogging Molly. Social Distortion are celebrating their 40th anniversary as a band, and founding member/front man Mike Ness is working on a new album, the band’s first since 2011’s Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes. Simultaneously, Flogging Molly have been touring steadily behind 2017’s Life Is Good, and are looking to set sail, with a solid lineup of bands, this fall on their fifth annual Salty Dog Cruise.
In the meantime, the venerable Southern California-based punk bands have hit the road and embarked on a co-headlining tour of North America. The festivities kicked-off in Irving TX on August 13th, and the tour is set to run through 22 cities before crossing the finish line in Mesa AZ on September 29th. We caught the bands just a few dates into the run at Red Hat Amphitheater in Raleigh NC. Check out some photos from the show below:
