I Mother Earth stopped by Distrikt Nightclub to help celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of their album Scenery & Fish. Victoria was in for a real treat, the current line-up of IME features founding front man Edwin who hasn’t performed with the band in nearly 20-years. Edwin and IME sounded exactly as they did over two decades ago. Not that I didn’t enjoy Bryan Byrne as the front-man for IME, but it seemed fitting to have Edwin commemorate the twentieth anniversary of Scenery And Fish. IME put on an amazing and epic live performance.
Oshawa natives The Stand Stills opened the night to a huge Victoria welcome, this duo of guitarist/lead singer Jonny Fox and drummer Renee Couture have a ton of support in this part of the world due to their show stealing performance at Rock The Shores earlier this year
