Mayer Hawthorne on stage is a strange brew of Frank Sinatra and a young Elvis Costello – sort of swanky, a man you will find seated and enjoying a decanter of whatever mid-stage while bathed in spotlights. Add some soul, a band with at least as much personality, and you get a unique show that I have a hard time picturing anyone else pulling off.
Maybe Frank. Or, you know.
Enjoy a few photos!
