It was Ratt’s 7th consecutive sell-out crowd according to Bobby Blotzer, for the RATT Re-Invasion Tour. It was apparent that the success of the band in the 80’s brought fans, both old and new (as I noticed a couple sets of father son concert goers) to the show. The setlist comprised of material ranging from the band’s Out of the Cellar thought to Detonator. It should be noted that the lineup of the band for this tour consists of Josh Alan (vocals), Doc Ellis (Guitar), Blaze (Guitar), Scott Griffin (Bass), and Bobby Blotzer (Drums).

Blotzer as the sole member of the original member of RATT has done an excellent job of surrounding himself with musicians that stays true to the original sound. Notably impressive was the vocals of Josh Alan. Alan joked with the crowd as they moved the set into Closer To My Heart from Invasion of Your Privacy indicating, “I was only a year old when that album was released.” Alan continued to joke how young band members were, essentially introducing the band’s new line up to the audience.

It was evident that people love RATT and their music, after a few seated stragglers were coaxed to their feet by Doc Ellis, the crowd was on their feet the entire night. Clapping along, and singing along to a good portion of the set. A fun night to a sold out crowd, for the new faces of RATT.
