Slow @ The Phoenix Concert Theatre – May 9th 2018

For more than 30 years one of Canada’s most influential punk bands has remained dormant, but the wait is now over. The Phoenix Concert Theatre hosted the return of Slow on May 9th, with fans eager to experience one of the Vancouver band’s fabled live performances.

Presented by Canadian Music Week and Exclaim! the band performed a 15-song set, including a few covers, that showcased a band showing little rust after a three-decade-long absence.

The Dirty Nil, who are currently working on a follow-up to 2016’s “Higher Power,” served as support along with fellow Dine Alone label-mate, Single Mothers.
