The Jesus and Mary Chain returned to Vancouver on their current tour, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the release their landmark 1985 album, ‘Psychocandy’. They started off with a short set of singles and tracks off other albums, and after a short break returned to play ‘Psychocandy’ in its entirety. The songs don’t sound dated, and the stage show was a barrage of strobes, smoke, and projected images and video. The sold out crowd was ecstatic to see the Scottish post-punk legends.
