The gates opened at noon and a crowd of thousands soon filled Lions Park in Brantford Ontario for the third annual WTFest.
A selection of local bands, like Harbour, Deaf the Animal and Zealots Desire started off the performances followed by Sumo Cyco, Treble Charger, Soul Asylum, Tonic, Collective Soul with Our Lady Peace closing out the festival. The energy of the crowd really started to climb as Tonic took the stage and continued through Collective Soul and increased again as Our Lady Peace performed.
One major highlight of the day’s performance occurred when Collective Soul left the stage during their last song and continued to play back stage with their performance being broadcast on the video screen while the audience continued to sing along with the band.
WTFest is known for supporting local bands and providing a great day’s entertainment, and for the third year in a row, they didn’t disappoint.
