I am putting this post out a day early, simply because the album Watch The Throne by The Throne, a Kanye West and Jay-z collaborative effort, was released today. It has the music news wire in chaos. As with most material, it is a love-hate division. Many of those out there are praising it as history, a perfect moment in time. While others, are jumping on the who-gives-a-crap wagon. I have joined the latter for now, but am waiting until tonight to really give the whole album a run through.
In the mean time, there are other albums by other amazing artists that deserve your attention. Drops by The Horrors, Scattered Trees, Trivium, Drive A and even the Canadian pop rockers Barenaked Ladies, make for a delicious dose of new music. So roll up your sleeves and dig in.
