A Look at Welcome To Rockville 2016

Welcome to Rockville is one of the biggest rock-based festivals to take place in North America in 2016. With a grand total of 45 bands performing over two days (April 30 and May 1) this festival is bound to create lifelong memories for music fans traveling to the show from around the world.

On Saturday April 30, Disturbed returns after a four-year hiatus alongside 3 Doors Down, Bring Me The Horizon, Sixx Am, Pennywise, Bullet for My Valentine, Asking Alexandria, Escape The Fate, Parkway Drive and more!

Sunday May 1, continues to put the “Rock” in Rockville with Rob Zombie, ZZ Top, Five Finger Death Punch, A Day to Remember, Megadeth, Anthrax, We Came as Romans, Memphis May Fire, Crown The Empire, From Ashes to New and many others.

After putting Mötley Crüe to rest in 2015, bassist Nikki Sixx has begun to put all of his musical focus towards Sixx: A.M. Sixx had the following to say about playing W.T.R.:
“The band cannot wait to get back on the stage for our fans at the upcoming Welcome to Rockville festival. 2016 is going to be a huge year for Sixx: A.M. — we’re coming out with a double album, tons of high-octane fueled performances. There is SO much to be excited for and we can’t wait to share the experience with all of you!”

Devastated fans who were unable to catch Crüe’s final tour are excited to see Sixx at Rockville in effort to continue making rock n’ roll history.

Danny Wimmer has produced many big name festivals such as Rock On the Range, Aftershock, Carolina Rebellion, and Rock Allegiance. When being interviewed about Rockville, Wimmer had the following to say:
“People thought I was crazy when I launched a festival in Jacksonville. This is my home town, so I ignored everyone, and we came out of the gate with a sold out event. We went from selling 10,000 tickets that first year to over 50,000 in 2015, and made this Florida’s biggest rock experience. I couldn’t be more proud to be a native of North Florida and to showcase my home town nationally. Welcome to Rockville has become one of rock’s most recognizable festivals, and it’s only going to get better.”
