Tall Tree Music Festival Offers Ticket Exchange Program for Pemberton Pass Holders

Starting Wednesday, May 24, 2017, Pemberton Pass Holders are eligible to exchange their Pemberton Festival Pass (GA, VIP) for a General Admission Tall Tree Festival Pass. The exchange program is limited to a first-come-first-serve system and the festival will honor ticket exchange inquiries in sequence to a maximum of 250.

“Tall Tree believes strongly in the bringing together of people and music to celebrate life on the west coast,” comments Emmalee Brunt, PR & Communications Manager for Tall Tree Music Festival. “Following the news of Pemberton’s cancellation, notably that ticket holders would not receive a refund, festival organizers decided to offer a ticket – for – ticket exchange to provide those who suddenly found themselves out of pocket and without a festival experience this summer.”

Tall Tree Music Festival understands the inherent challenges operating multi-day festivals and sincerely empathizes with the organizers of Pemberton Music Festival, however, do not agree with a ‘no-refunds policy’ on a canceled event. In order to keep the industry alive in BC, event organizers need to instill confidence in attendees so that they maintain their interest and faith in outdoor festivals for years to come.

“As far as size is concerned, Tall Tree operates on a much smaller scale than Pemberton,” comments Brunt. “Our offer of 250 tickets is substantial for us, but we believe strongly that this is the right move, especially when we put ourselves in the shoes of Pemberton Pass Holders, as we’re avid festival goers ourselves.”

Please note that this is a ticket exchange for general admission tickets, to a maximum of 250, however, does not cover camping/early access.
