Majid Jordan Announce New Album Two Roads

Majid Jordan are entering a new chapter.

The Toronto R&B duo have announced their fifth studio album, Two Roads, which arrives August 28th through OVO Sound.

The album follows recent singles “Cold” and “See You Again,” and is being described as the duo’s most immersive and fully realized work to date. That sounds like a big promise, but it also makes sense for a group that has spent more than a decade building a very specific world of atmospheric R&B, electronic production, late-night emotion, and clean melodic restraint.

Majid Jordan have always had a sound that feels like headlights on wet pavement.

Warm, moody, romantic, and quietly massive.

Two Roads builds on that foundation with lo-fi textures, richer instrumentation, and a more expansive sonic approach. The title reflects the duo’s 15-year creative partnership. Not two roads moving apart, but two individuals moving side by side, each bringing their own emotional lens and musical instinct into one shared vision.

Majid Jordan call the album “incredibly dear” to their hearts, adding that throughout the writing and recording process, they kept reminding themselves to stay focused, listen closely, and respect the gift of music.

That feels fitting.

The duo, made up of singer Majid Al-Maskati and producer Jordan Ullman, first emerged with their 2014 EP Afterhours before joining OVO Sound. They also helped co-write and co-produce Drake’s massive hit “Hold On, We’re Going Home,” which became a defining moment in modern R&B-pop crossover.

Since then, they have released four studio albums, collaborated with artists including Khalid, Swae Lee, and PARTYNEXTDOOR, and contributed writing and production work for major names including Beyoncé, Miley Cyrus, and Justin Bieber.

The album announcement also comes as Majid Jordan prepare to hit the road as direct support on Bryson Tiller Presents: The Neo Trapsoul Tour. The 61-date global run begins August 27th in West Valley City, Utah, and includes stops at Madison Square Garden, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Intuit Dome, Rogers Arena in Vancouver, and more before heading to Europe, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand.

Two Roads is out August 28th.

Majid Jordan play Vancouver’s Rogers Arena with Bryson Tiller on October 30th.
