Wheeler Walker Jr. Announces Final Album “Pullin’ Out” and Farewell Tour

Wheeler Walker Jr. is apparently getting ready to ride off into the sunset, at least in his own deeply unfiltered way.

The country-comedy outlaw has announced that his final album, Pullin’ Out, will arrive on September 25, 2026, with the Pullin’ Out: The Farewell Tour beginning shortly after on October 15, 2026. To mark the announcement, Walker has also released the new single “F**k This Bar”. For fans looking for more Wheeler Walker Jr. tour dates and ticket information, Concert Addicts also has additional artist event listings and upcoming show details.

For anyone even loosely familiar with Wheeler Walker Jr., none of this arrives quietly. The character, brought to life by comedian Ben Hoffman, has spent the last decade bulldozing through country music decorum with songs so crude and absurd that they somehow loop back around into being their own strange kind of commentary. Beneath all the filth and provocation, though, there has always been a sharper instinct at work. Walker’s music has consistently poked at the polished emptiness of mainstream country while still sounding rooted enough in the genre to actually land the joke.

That is part of what made the project stick. This was never just novelty for novelty’s sake. Over the years, Wheeler Walker Jr. built a real audience, stacking No. 1 comedy albums and even pushing into the country charts, all while refusing to clean up the act. His records have lived in that uncomfortable little zone where parody, fandom, and genuine craft overlap, which is a harder balance to strike than the material sometimes gets credit for.

Pullin’ Out also continues a long-running creative relationship with producer Dave Cobb, marking the sixth Wheeler Walker Jr. album to come out of that partnership. Cobb’s presence has always helped give the music enough muscle and authenticity to keep the whole thing from collapsing into pure bit territory. No matter how outrageous the lyrics get, the records usually still sound like records.

The farewell tour itself is sizable, stretching from the Midwest through the East Coast, Canada, the South, and out west before wrapping at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium on May 15, 2027. There is something fitting about that final stop. For a project that spent years gleefully disrespecting the rules of country music, ending at one of the genre’s most symbolic venues feels both ridiculous and weirdly appropriate.

Tickets for the farewell tour go on sale Friday, June 12, 2026 at 10 AM local time. If Wheeler Walker Jr. really is calling it a day, he seems intent on making sure the sendoff is as loud, offensive, and committed as the whole run has been.
