I can hear the crowds. I can feel the sun on my neck and the bands energy running through me. I can smell the food trucks and see the smiles of
I can see Welcome To Rockville.
Welcome To Rockville is such a special time of year because it brings the East Coast together as a family to celebrate rock in its many forms and genres.
Welcome To Rockville’s 2019 line up is by far my favorite line up to announce (since I first started covering the festival a few years back) for all the Addicts reading up on the buzz! Korn, Killswitch Engage, Flogging Molly, Rob Zombie, Judas Priest, In This Moment, Black Label Society, Incubus, Tool, Bring Me The Horizon, The Struts and that’s only a few!! There are so many more great acts it might as well be a three-day headlining festival because no act on the bill is considered an “opening” band.
Rob Halford says, “Judas Priest are primed and ready to unleash new Firepower with full metal fury on the USA again as we are one of the headliners at Welcome To Rockville in Jacksonville, Florida! The Priest is back!”
Chris Kilmore of Incubus adds, “We’re excited to return to Jacksonville and play at Welcome To Rockville in 2019! There are some great bands on the bill and we can’t wait to see our friends in Tool as well as many others. See you there!”
Welcome To Rockville will be giving each and every festival in the U.S. a run for their money when fans hit the gates May 3rd, 4th, and 5th at Metropolitan Park In Jacksonville, FL.
Undoubtedly every hungry fan will need to replenish their bodies with some AMAZING local food. This opens the doors to many selections! Here’s a few to choose from: Barrique, The Bread and Board, BC Taco, Brucci’s Pizza, Cely’s Filipino Cuisine, Guanabana Ice Pops, Island Noodles, Mama’s Food Truck, Mojo’s BBQ, Pie Baby Wood Fired Pizza, What’s The Catch Fish Tacos, and Wurstbusters Truck and there will be various other trucks on site as well!
Am I making you thirsty with all the food options swirling around your brain? Have no fear there will be Bud Light, selections from the Caduceus Cellars & Merkin Vineyards Wine Garden (owned by Maynard James Keenan) killer cocktails at the Heavy Tiki Bar Oasis, and local craft beer from the legends over at Tampa-based Cigar City Brewing.
